Education World, India’s lone ranking agency has marked decade-old Delhi Public School (DPS), Raipur as number one among the schools of Chhattisgarh in 2015.
The school administration denoted the world-class infrastructure, high-quality education system and global atmosphere for the achievement.
Notably, the award was recently handed over to the School Principal Raghunath Mukherjee during a function in New Delhi.
The trained teachers in the school not only educate the students but also teach them humanity and moral education helping in becoming a global citizen, according to a DPS Press release issued.
The students passing out with meritorious result are placed in reputed educational institutions. DPS has contributed towards the globalisation of education. Due to such efforts, the school has succeeded in receiving the membership of British Council as well as bagged International School Award.
In the present scenario, the school has been chosen the Ambassador School in Eastern India by the British Council wherein DPS Principal Raghunath Mukherjee is playing the role of Ambassador.
Baldev Singh Bhatia, the Pro-Vice Chairman of the School and Management Committee, Member Vijay Shah along with others congratulated Mukherjee on this occasion. The School Principal expressed gratitude towards each individual associated with them for the achievement.
Bhatia shared his happiness over the value education taught in the school.
