Delhi Public School (DPS), Raipur Principal Raghunath Mukherjee has once again been adjudged ‘The Best Zonal Principal-Chhattisgarh zone’.
The recognition came through ‘The Academic Council of Science Olympiad Foundation’, which in its letter of acknowledgement has confirmed a trophy, a citation and a cash award to the Principal, a DPS Press release informed on Wednesday.
This year the school also participated in the Sports Olympiad, 1st of its kind ever, only to earn envious positions and an all-round applause for its initiative of external exam drive in paving way to provide a global status to its students.
The pivotal role played by Daljeet Anand, Science faculty at DPS Raipur, in gearing students for this exam found such a niche in the SOF that he too has been awarded a trophy, a citation and a cash award for ‘The Best Zonal Teacher-Chhattisgarh zone.’
The school hails both these awards as an honour worth the pains. It promises to enthuse, encourage and entrust students with its dictum of ‘Service before self’ in very field so that students can foresee and plan for themselves with confidence and thus hope to reach coveted heights in future.
Mukherjee stressed on students learning by putting on efforts during self study rather than sending them to tuition classes and spoil their natural abilities. Kids must compete with their own abilities and gauge their progress regularly. learning and performing should always be fun filled.
