Don’t underestimate rival: Yogi tells BJP workers

The BJP workers should not underestimate the strength of the rivals and strive to work till victory is ensured during polls in Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Tuesday. After three years of a ‘terror regime,’ the BJP under leadership of Dr Raman Singh had formed the Government and  continued for three consecutive terms due to support of people and he is seeking blessings from the people for the fourth time, he said while addressing the public rally after filing of nomination papers by six party candidates including Chief Minister Raman Singh at Rajnandgaon..

Chhattisgarh became the first to state to provide food security to all while ensuring livelihood guarantee, opening of schools in tribal areas, promoting education and other development works while placing the once so-called BIMARU state on path of a developing state, said Yogi.

Yogi said that after he became Chief Minster of Uttar Pradesh, he asked his team of officials to visit Chhattisgarh to study Chhattisgarh model of paddy procurement  and on the basis of that, the UP Government started procuring paddy and wheat from farmers.

On Ram Temple issue, Yogi said, “The Congress party has made all efforts and even approached the Supreme Court that the issue should not be decided before 2019. The Congress has always stood against it and did not want to find a solution".

Attacking All India Congress Committee President Rahul Gandhi, Yogi said that whenever the country faces any crises, Rahul goes to his maternal home in Italy and does not remember his country and Chhattisgarh.

“But when we (BJP) face any such thing, we would go towards Chhattisgarh, because it is the maternal home of Lord Ram. It provides the spirituality and peace as already, a massive Ram temple has come up in Raipur,” he said.
