This is certainly not straight out of any pulp fiction or a Hollywood flick. Remember the 101 DalmatiansIJ Getting to real life there is a family living on the outskirts of Raipur having an entire farm devoted to the caring for and selling world’s finest breed of canines.

Being in the dog business isn’t easy for Bobby Razdan, the young entrepreneur who was struck with an idea of selling the world’s best breed of dogs six years back to the animal lovers.

“The monthly expense to maintain the 45 dogs we currently have in the farm is in the range of Rs70,000 to Rs80,000 a month. The dogs collectively need 25 kgs of chicken per day and grown ups need 10 eggs each per day as feeds which are produced within the farm,” he said.

The four breeds we sell are labradors, Rottweilers, German Shepard and Golden Retriwer. “It’s impossible to keep more breeds,” he said, adding, “Professional breeding of dogs was not my purpose at all.We only wanted to sell the best quality dogs to the customers. Now these four breeds are sold by us in entire Chhattisgarh region. There were dogs sold by us in Kolkata too, Razdan said.

Import of dogs is currently banned in India. When the government allows their import once again, we would be importing all the four breed of dogs we are currently selling- Rotweilers, labradors, German Shepards and the Golden Retreivers, a beaming Razdan stated.
