Doctors monitoring Covid patients at home, cases on rise in state

Published on:

Chhattisgarh's Health Department has told private hospitals, nursing homes and doctors monitoring patients in home isolation to provide information about the patients to the Chief Medical and Health Officers of their districts.

The department has issued a circular stating this to doctors and directors of private hospitals as well as nursing homes

The circular states that it has been noticed that some private hospitals and doctors are not giving information about such patients like daily records of their temperature, oxygen level, symptoms and end of their home isolation period.

According to the criteria set by the government, only      Covid-19 infected people    should get the facility of home isolation.
