Chief Minister Raman Singh has asked the officials of Raipur Development Authority (RDA) to ensure rain water harvesting is carried out in the ambitious Kamal Vihar project coming up near Raipur.
The Chief Minister while visiting the project site on Sunday also stated that ground water should be recharged using monsoon water which can be used for watering parks later.
He told officials that instead of rain water flowing through natural nullahs, the water could be used to recharge ground water and also same could be treated in the Sewarage Treatment plants and the water could be utilised for huge number of plantations which should be carried out in the colony.
