Chhattisgarh Special Director General of Police (Anti-Naxal Operations), DM Awasthi on Wednesday assumed additional charge as DG, Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) and Economic Offences Wing (EOW) at the Police Headquarters (PHQ) here.
He is an IPS officer 1986 batch.
After assuming additional charge of ACB and EOW, he is now most powerful police official after DGP A.N. Upadhyay.
