A meeting to review ongoing works of various departments would be undertaken under the chairmanship of Bastar Division Commissioner RP Jain on May 22 at 10 am.
The meeting would also review the works undertaken by Food, Civil Supplies and Co-operatives Department during the later part of the day.
This apart, the meeting would carry out detailed review of district-wise information on the status of hand pumps, spot water resources, Nal Jal scheme, digging of borewells, water supply problems and their solution under the PHED Department.
Under the Urban Administration Department, a review of the status of received applications under the Nagar Suraj Abhiyan besides approved works under water supply augmentation projects, infrastructure development projects, promoted approved works under various schemes, bus stand, garden, play ground, centrally sponsored programmes, IlCS, IHSDP and works elated to 13th Finance Commission would be reviewed.
Similarly, under the Food Department, the review of the status of custom milling of paddy procured, agency-wise information on the PDS shops, food storage arrangements in the far-flung regions, preparation of ration cards under Chhattisgarh Food Security Scheme and their distribution would be undertaken in the meeting.
The review of activities of Civil Supplies Corporation would comprise status of food grains availability, storage status of food grains, district-wise capacity of godowns and progress of construction work for under construction godowns.
Under Co-operatives Department, details of the status of distribution of Kisan Credit cards would be sought status on recovery of loans for Kharif loan Advancement Year 2012-13.
