State Congress spokesperson Jaswant Claudius on Thursday claimed that the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) VS Sampath has issued necessary directives on making available the list of postal ballots to the Congress party following a plea made by AICC Treasurer Motilal Vora in New Delhi.
Vora had led a delegation of State Congress leaders to meet the CEC a day earlier where a demand was raised to make available the list of the postal ballots of all the 90 Assembly seats in Chhattisgarh to the Congress party, he said in a statement.
Another delegation of the Congress party leaders led by General Secretary Subhash Sharma met the CEC once again in New Delhi on Thursday and had demanded immediate implementation of his directive on making available the list of postal ballots to the party, Claudius said.
