With an objective to promote cashless transaction and aware the masses towards it, Bilaspur district administration will hold digi-dhan mela on January 13.
Before digi-dhan mela, several competitions would also be organized on January 11 in the premises Burgess Memorial Higher Secondary School from 9.00 am onwards.
In the programme, speech competition on the topic importance of cashless transaction, essay competition on the topic cash transaction: important for Indian economy, slogan competition, jingle, poster and rangoli competition would be conducted on the topics realted to digital payment and cashless society. For the day-long programme, GA Ashwani Kumar has been appointed Nodal Officer while Principal of Burgess Memorial Higher Secondary School has been appointed Assistant Nodal Officer.
