A ‘Diabetic Clinic’ has been made operational for pregnant women at District Hospital in Raipur under National Health Mission,
Mission Director, National Health Mission, Health and Family Welfare Department, Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure said the clinic has been started for citizens where pregnant women can undergo diabetic check-up. This would also help in controlling the condition of diabetes during pregnancy.
“At the clinic, along with availability of medicines and treatment, the patients would be provided guidance on the intake and type of food and basic preventive measures”, he said.
Post Graduate expert in diabetes control, Dr Priyashree is providing treatment in the clinic, Dr Bhure said.
