The untrained workers of rice mills will get training to enhance their skills according to their interest in Chhattisgarh. This was decided in a meeting of rice millers of the district with Collector Niranjan Das at the District Collectorate here.
The rice millers informed about needs of skilled workers like Computer Operator, Mill Operator, Boiler Operator, Truck Driver, Electrician, Mechanic, Accountant, Security Guard etc.The Collector directed the Assistant Director-Skill Development Authority- lakheshwar Verma to provide training to the youth according to demand of the rice mills.
The youths after completing the skill development course will be sent to the rice mills for practical training. The trainees will also get scholarship as determined by the government. The youths will be provided training in the rice mills situated in their respective areas.Additional Collector Ramji Sahu, Project Director of District Rural Development Agency RK Khute and the rice millers of the district were present in the meeting.
