Agriculture Minister Brijmohan Agrawal said that rapid changes are taking place in all sectors under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The nation can be developed when the villages are on the path of development’’, Agrawal said while addressing a gathering at village Kandul on the concluding day of 'Gram udai se Bharat Udai' Mission. Modi had launched Fasal Beema Yojana and 'Pradhan Mantri krushi Sichai Yojana' to give justice to the farmers.
Agrawal announced developmental works worth Rs 2.80 cr. He said that rural regions are the backbone of the nation.
The State Government is focussing on the rapid progress of villages and farmers under the leadership of Chief Minister Raman Singh.
Agrawal sanctioned Rs 50 lakh for lining and concretisation of Mandhar branch canal, Rs 12 lakh for Kandul Community hall, Rs 75 lakh to lay several roads, Rs 20 lakh to construct Gaurav Path, Rs 20 lakh to build tank bunds, Rs 80 lakh for Internet connectivity, library building and drinking water facility.
