Chhattisgarh Commercial Tax Minster T.S. Singh Deo on Tuesday said the state's development is linked to tax collection.
He said this while addressing a review meeting of the Commercial Tax Department here, an official statement said.
Singh Deo reviewed the division- and circle-wise collection of GST as well as sector-wise receipts.
He asked the officials to increase revenue collection for the current financial year.
He urged more traders and businessmen to register under GST Act.
In the current financial year, a target of tax collection of Rs 22,000 crore has been set.
