It is about a week and police have not been able to round up the yard owner in whose yard the professional detonators were seized.
Police have rounded up yard manager in this connection.Police sources informed that a team would be now sent to Khariyar road for rounding up the yard owner Sunil Jain. Notably on August 17 Central Crime Branch (CCB) and Khamtarai police raided the yard ‘Amar Enterprises’ in Khamtarai area and seized 36 professional detonators from the yard.
The yard Manager Upendra Singh was arrested from the spot while the yard owner was reportedly out of city.
Police sources further said yard manager during interrogation told police that scrap used to reach in his yard from Jagdalpur and Khariyar Road. On the basis of inputs provided by Upendra Singh Raipur police reached Jagdalpur but nothing objectionable was found in Jagdalpur.
Now a police team would be sent to Khariyar Road to trace the origin of detonators. Police is still groping in dark about destination or detonators.
Station House Officer Khamtarai informed that no one was found in the home of Sunil Jain located at Samta Colony.
