The Regional Transport Office (RTO) has directed all vehicle finance companies in Raipur to compulsorily provide complete details on seizure of vehicles for non payment of loans by them.
The RTO has asked all the vehicle finance companies to ensure that the transfer of registration of vehicles is carried out before they are sold to another person, an official press release issued here on Friday stated.
In the process, whatever outstanding taxes are to be recovered, the RTO would carry out the recovery of revenue, it stated. The move is also being believed to have been taken up to ensure that complete details of persons who had been sold the vehicles by finance companies are available with the RTO as a security measure, official sources informed.
