Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is a good team and apart from qualifiers every team will like to have a good game with CSK, opined Pravin Amre, Assistant Coach Delhi Daredevils (DD) while talking with the reporters here at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium on Monday.

Delhi Daredevils will take on CSK on Tuesday in Raipur.   Amre replying to a query that after losing last match how the team was seeing next match, said, “In our last match with CSK we had lost just by one run. They are in a strong position but our team has lots of youngsters who are willing to perform good in next match.”

Over poor performance of batsman, he said, “We have discussed the issue in team, batsmen have to be constant but they are not able to deliver what we want. However, in last match the way Kedar Jadhav played, we were very happy and the way Saurabh Tiwary came up was also good. When we are not performing well then there are weak points but the youngsters who are playing well can be a good asset for team with their experience next year.”

Over Yuvraj Singh’s disappointing performance he said, “The two matches we won in Pune he played well. In a match played at Mumbai his game was good. T-20 is a format such where sometimes players are not able to perform well all times. But we hope that in match against CSK he will bounce back. Not only in Yuvraj but all 11 players will try to perform well in the next game,” Assistant Coach Amre stated.

To the question about some players speaking about difficulty in summer season here, he said weather condition was not a problem. The team has played in more hot weather at Chennai and Mumbai. “We cannot complaint about weather as the opponent team is also playing in same weather conditions,” he said.
