President of Chhattisgarh Congress Business Cell Kanhaiya Agrawal on Sunday alleged that it took the police nearly a week to begin searches against Green Ray International Chit Fund company even when a police complaint was made on May 4 itself. Agrawal , in a statement issued here on Sunday, also expressed apprehension that many more such dubious companies may be allegedly operating in Chhattisgarh who have not received any license from either SEBI or the RBI.He appealed to the people of the State to do research on the company’s background before investing in them.
