The bodies of three more persons who went              missing while bathing in a waterfall in Chhattisgarh’s Korea district were found on Monday, taking the death toll in the incident to six, police said.

All the deceased were among 15 members of an extended family from Madhya Pradesh who on Sunday had a picnic at the Ramdaha waterfall, Korea Superintendent of Police Trilok Bansal said.

The bodies of Shweta Singh (22), Shrddha Singh (14) and Abhay Singh (22) were recovered on Monday morning, he said.

Late on Sunday, the             bodies of Himanshu Singh (18) and Rishabh Singh (24), husband of Surekha Singh, were traced by the rescuers, the officer added.

Initially, Ratnesh Singh (26) and Surekha Singh (22) were rescued and rushed to a hospital. Ratnesh Singh was declared dead there while Surekha Singh was said to be out of danger, the officer said.

Despite a board at the spot warning people not to bathe in the waterfall, the tourists had gone into its deep waters, Bansal said.
