As part of the ongoing week-long Rural Camp, the students of Social Work Department of Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism and Mass Communication (KTUJM) took out a rally on ‘De-Addiction Campaign’ at Kathadih village on Thursday wherein a large number of the villagers also participated.
The purpose of the rally was to spread awareness on the harmful effects of taking liquor.
Notably, the Master of Social Work (MSW) students followed by the Undergraduate and Post Graduate students of Mass Communication Department participated in the rally.
Prerna Joshi, a fourth semester MSW student said, “Everyday, we are trying to make the villagers aware about various issues concerning their lives.”
