Chief Secretary Vivek Dhand on Friday reviewed the implementation of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Scheme and Digital Payment System, in a meeting of senior officials of various departments held at the Mantralaya here.
He directed officials present in the meeting to implement DBT scheme with priority and asked officials to chalk out action plan to solve any problem arising in implementation of digital payment system in various government schemes of state.
The Chief Secretary said that beneficiaries under various schemes of Centre and State Government should be benefitted under DBT scheme.
In the meeting, CHiPS CEO Alex Paul Menon informed that to promote DBT project and digital payment, State DBT Portal has been developed. Through this portal, all the activities of State Government for implementation of DBT will be monitored.
The objective of this scheme is to maintain transparency in financial transactions through cashless economy for citizen empowerment.
