A day-long seminar titled ‘Protection of Child Rights Act’ was organised here at the Police Control Room. Chairperson of State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) Act Shatabdi Pandey, Member of Child Welfare Board Sharad Srivastava besides other officials were present in the seminar. In her address Pandey said that the Commission had been established under the provisions of Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005 and with an aim to protect, promote and defend child rights in the State.
