The stormy wind followed by rains brought respite for sweltering heat for Raipurians on Saturday but it also forced the Delhi Daredevils (DD) to call off its practice session ahead of Sunday’s crucial match with Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Delhi Daredevils which defeated Hyderabad Sunrisers in a close match on Friday with a boundary on last ball, is all set to take on RCB at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Naya Raipur on Sunday. The Delhi Daredevils hopes to get out cheaply Virat Kohli who is in awesome form in IPl-2016.

Meanwhile, DD and RCB with 14 points each, are desperate to win Sunday’s match for confirming their berth in playoffs. “Due to wet outfield the practice session of DD was called off,” informed an official of Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh (CSCS).

In the meantime, the team RCB led by skipper Virat Kohli landed at Raipur on late Saturday evening.

RCB with three consecutive wins is highly confident. With skipper Kohli managing to score four centuries in the series so far, he happens to be the only batsman to score more than 800 runs in a single edition of the IPl and has 865 runs from 13 matches.
