Chhattisgarh Government has suspended Dr TR Dehre, principal of Danteshwari Government Post Graduation College and Mahendra Karma Government Girls College Dantewada, with immediate effect, an official statement informed on Friday.
Additional Collector of South Bastar Dantewada had formed a probe committee that submitted investigation report about the irregularities and corruption worth lakhs of rupees done by Dr Dehre. From the report, it was evident that Dehre had not complied with the Chhattisgarh State Store Purchase Rule, 2002. Hence, it is considered as clear violation of Rule 3 of Chhattisgarh Civil Service (Conduct) Rule 1965 and Dr Dehre has been suspended under Rule (9) (a) of Chhattisgarh Civil Service (Classification and Control) Rule, 1966. During the period of suspension, Government College Ambikapur will be the headquarters for Dr Dehre.
