To promote the Abujhmad Peace Half Marathon 2021, a cycle rally was held on Sunday in Chhattisgath’s Narayanpur town.
District Panchayat President Shyambati Netam flagged off the rally, a press release said.
The cycle rally started from the Collectorate office and passed through various squares and culminated on Collectorate Road.
The cycle rally aimed to motivate people to take part in the marathon.
Bastar Inspector General of Police Sundararaj P, Narayanpur Collector Dharmesh Kumar Sahu, Superintendent of Police Mohit Garg, Additional Superintendent of Police Neeraj Chandrakar along with other leading citizens and the public participated.
The third edition of the 21-km ‘Abujhmad Peace Half Marathon 2021’ will be held on February 27 in Narayanpur town. The winner will get Rs 1.21 lakh in cash. The last date for online registration is February 25.
