The Election Commission held a cycle rally and a candle march at Namadgiri and Mahadgaon Gram panchayats respectively under its Systematic Voter Education and Electoral Participation Programme (SVEEP) in the district.
This apart, a comprehensive plan had also been prepared to generate voter awareness among residents of Premnagar, Bhatgaon and Pratapur Assembly constituencies for its effective implementation under the guidance of Collector and District Electoral Officer Dr S Bharati Dasan, according to an official press release issued here on Monday.
