A blood donation camp was organized by Chhattisgarh State Power Holding Company limited (CSPHCl) wherein 62 officers and employees participated.
Addressing the gathering, Dr KS Chhabra, Camp Nodal Officer and additional Senior Health Officer informed that any healthy person between 18 to 65 years of age can donate blood.
“Various blood tests that carried out during blood donation helps a person to know about their health status and this way blood donation is of multiple benefits,” Chhabra said.
Managing Director of CSPHCl, SB Agrawal, AK Garg along with other officers also donated blood.
The camp was jointly organized by state-of-the-art model blood bank of Dr BR Ambedkar Memorial Hospital Raipur.
Blood donated in the camp would be provided to the patients of sickling, thalassemia and hemo-philia besides other diseases.
