The Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company ltd (CSPDCl) will soon launch ‘Smart Metering Project’ in four towns mainly Ambikapur, Korba, Raigarh and Rajanandgaon in the State, officials informed.
A Smart Metering system reduces meter-reading, data-entry errors and costs by removing the need for manual meter reading.
The meters are connected through a web-based monitoring system.
