Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain on Thursday reviewed preparations for paddy procurement to begin from November 1, an official announcement said.
Chhattisgarh is all set to procure 110 lakh tonnes of paddy on Minimum Support Price (MSP) this Kharif season.
New farmers’ registration in registered crop areas started from July 1 and will continue till October 31.
So far, about 24.62 lakh farmers have registered for the current Kharif marketing year. This includes 60,878 new registrations.
