Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain on Tuesday instructed Secretaries of all the departments to ensure successful Independence Day function across Chhattisgarh.
Jain presided over a high-level meeting here to review the preparations for the celebrations.
He told the Secretaries to instruct district Collectors to make the Independence functions a grand success.
He enquired from the Raipur Collector about preparations for the main function and parade to be held at the Police Ground.
He also reviewed preparations for the three-day ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to be launched on August 13.
Jain told officials to have the tricolour distributed to government offices and public.
