ACentral Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at base camp in Bijapur district on Sunday. The reasons for the extreme step taken by him are not known, police said.
Harinarayan Dwivedi, a native of Satna district of Madhya Pradesh was posted in Jailbada camp of the Bijapur headquarters of 168th Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). He shot himself with his SlR at the camp on Sunday morning and was declared dead on the spot, police said.The body was sent for post-mortem examination after preliminary investigation.
