Counselling for admission in the three Government polytechnic institutions of the State will begin at the Byron Bazar located Government Girls Polytechnic the city on August 6 at 11 am.
Counselling for the total 10 seats of two Government polytechnics in Raipur and one in Bhattapara will be held.
According to Technical Education and Manpower Planning Department officers, all the eligible candidates who have taken the Chhattisgarh PPT 2014 can attend the counselling.
The officers said that counselling for two seats of electronics and telecommunication (ET&T) branch and one seat of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) branch of Government Girls Polytechnic Raipur, three seats of civil branch and one seat of mechanical branch of Government Co-Education Polytechnic Raipur and three seats of civil branch of Government Polytechnic Bhattapara would be held.
According to information received from Principal, Government Girls Polytechnic Raipur, interested candidates could present themselves with all necessary certificates, including PPT marksheet and register their name on August 6 up to 1 pm. The candidates, who have done DBC earlier, would be given priority in admission.
