The date of counseling for admission in Prayas Residential Schools at all the divisional headquarters, for academic session 2016-17, has been decided.
In the same sequence, counseling at Prayas School, situated in Pahadi Chowk, Gudhiyari Raipur city are being held from June 24 to June 26. On June 26, counseling of students belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) and general category will be done.
It is noteworthy that presently total 750 seats in 11th standard are available for admission at Prayas Residential Schools, for the current academic session. This includes 125 seats of Prayas Residential Boys School Raipur and 125 seats in Prayas Residential Girls School Raipur.
likewise, each of the Prayas Residential Schools in Ambikapur, Jagdalpur, Durg and Bilaspur has 75 seats available for boys and 50 seats for girls admission. In the counseling to be held on June 26, 85 boys and 65 girls student of OBC and general category will be participating. These students have been shortlisted by Tribal Welfare Department, based on the pre-selection exam which was held on May 31.
