The Congress party has demanded from the State government to make public the expenditures made on various boards and corporations formed by it.
Stating that more than half of them are useless, it had blamed that public money was misused in the name of facilities provided to their office bearers.
In a statement, party spokesperson Sushil Anand Shukla termed the boards and corporations in the State as ‘White Elephants’.
Though, the National President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Amit Shah, is reviewing the working of the office bearers of boards and corporations of the State and it is their internal matter, the citizens also want to know as to why such bodies have been formed, he said.
