The Golbazar police could not get any clue from builder Sanjay Bajpayee regarding irregularities in the land deal even after 10 days of sustained interrogation.
The police were trying to get some clue about the fake records from him. According to the police, during interrogation, Bajpayee would be taken to his office and the colony and the police would try to seize the records related to the land.
Sanjay Bajpayee, who was developing New Swagat vihar colony on the possession government land at Doonda Sejbahar has been in police custody in these days. After his surrender in the court, the Moudahapara police have taken him on total 8 days remand and interrogating. He was again produced before the court on June 22. The court ordered to send him on judicial remand.
On the other hand, the Golbazar police have urged the court to send Bajpayee in their custody for interrogation. On the request of the police, the court sent him in police custody up to June 26. Now, the Golbazar police have been questioning Bajpayee on the possession of government land at New Swagat vihar, allotment of plot and irregularities in the records, but the police could not get any success in this regard so far.
Golbazar TI Shamsher Khan said that on interrogation builder Bajpayee told the police that he did not make any irregularity in the possession of government land and in the allotment of plots. Even though everything is as per the rule in his colony, he has been arrested and being pressurized.

The Golbazar police have registered another case of cheating against the builder Sanjay Bajpay and his wife Dr Sarita Bajpayee, on the complaint of Nandkumar Sahu, 50, resident of Boriakalan.
In his complaint Sahu said that builder Sanjay Bajpayee and his wife Dr Sarita Bajpayee had sold a land to him at Boriakalan. When Sahu went for the registration of the land, it was learnt that the Bajpayee couple already had sold the land to some other person.
Several cases have already been registered against builder Sanjay Bajpayee and his wife Dr Sarita Bajpayee under various sections, including cheating, with the Golbazar and Moudahapara police stations of the city.
