A police man injured himself on Monday in old police line of district headquarter here in insurgency-riddled Bijapur while sticking his service SlR rifle and trigger was accidentally pulled. Wounded cop was admitted in the district hospital for treatment and his condition is said to be out of danger
On Monday morning at around 11.15, while cop Mangal Hapka was busy sticking his service rifle SlR, before he could make it out what exactly happened to his right hand, he found himself bleeding profusely, while he accidentally pulled the trigger. He was immediately rushed to the district hospital, where his condition is stated to be out of danger. Dr Rajendra Patel who is treating the Jawan has said that bullet went through his right hand left it ruptured but after getting few stitches he is safe now.
