The third and final list of Congress party candidates for the ensuing Assembly polls in expected on Monday.
The meeting of the Central Election Committee is expected to take place in New Delhi on Monday which would be attended by CGPCC president Charandas Mahant, leader of Opposition Ravindra Choubey besides other senior party leaders. It was learnt that the senior Congress leader Ajit Jogi has already forwarded his suggestions to the screening committee of the party except the Assembly seats in Durg district where the discretion on proposing candidates had been left with the party ‘s National Treasurer Motilal Vora who belongs to Durg. Sources informed that except in the case of MlA from Vaishali Nagar Bhajan Singh Nirankari and that of MlA Ramdev Ram from lundra, the ticket for the rest of the seats had almost been decided.
