State Congress Spokesperson Sushil Anand Shukla on Friday said that the Congress was going to form the next Government in Chhattisgarh by achieving two-thirds of the majority in the recently concluded Assembly polls. The BJP is going to be routed badly in the Assembly polls. Even after making calculations on wins and losses, the senior BJP leaders were perceiving no hope of returning to the power in Chhattisgarh, he said in a statement issued here.
Shukla said that even the grass-roots level workers in the BJP wanted the ruling party to go out of power which had made them work against the party in the polls. “The high turnout of the voters during the Assembly polls has made it apparent that the Congress party is going to form the Government in the State,” he said.
