The Congress party legislators staged gherao of Chief Minster Dr Raman Singh in Vidhanshabha complex on Wednesday. The Congress party legislator lead by leader of opposition Ravindra Choubey staged demonstration soon after the sine die was declared for the monsoon session.
The Congress party legislators demanding resignation from CM shouted anti-State Government slogans just before the chamber of Chief Minster’s chamber in the complex around 1 O’clock. The agitated members were also showing photo copies of news papers which had published news of attack on Congress Convoy and killing of Congress leader Nand Kumar Patel, Mahendra Karma along with others. The entire drama lasted for about half-an-hour after CM came out of assembly and persuaded the agitating members to come into his room for tea in full media cover.
