State BJP Spokesperson, Sanjay Shrivastava on Monday said that time has come that the Congress party would now have to hire people to weep on its defeat.
The old Congressmen are leaving the party alleging their own party leaders of bargaining. Everywhere in Chhattisgarh Congress suspicion was being expressed on the leaders and the Congress leaders were engaged in sinking each other’s boat, he said in a statement here.
Shrivastava said that Congress leaders have usurped the seats by looting the rights of the party workers. On the one hand, the martyrdom of senior leaders like Vidyacharan Shukla is being insulted; the Congressmen themselves are accusing the State president Bhupesh Baghel of indulging in caste based politics.
The scene of street play being staged in the Congress is being observed right from the State Congress headquarters to Mahasamund, from Korba and Raipur to Rajnandgaon. Workers who have been cheated by the Congress leaders are joining the BJP. The situation indicates that they will get only one seat in Chhattisgarh. That means, the Congress is getting ready to repeat the history of last two terms, he said.
Shrivastava said that the BJP is fully confident that the Congress would not win even a single seat from Chhattisgarh, as everyone in that party is trying to pull each other's leg. Now the time has come for the total elimination of the Congress in Chhattisgarh, he added.
