Senior Congress leaders were on Sunday inspected the site for the party’s 85th national plenary session to be held here from February 24 to 26.
The leaders included the convention’s organizing committee chairman and AICC Treasurer Pawan Bansal, convener Tariq Anwar and General Secretary (Organization) K.C. Venugopal.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and PCC chief Mohan Markam escorted them to the venue, the Rajyotsava fair site in Nava Raipur.
Earlier, a warm welcome was accorded to the party leaders at the Swami Vivekanand Airport.
Congress sources said a public meeting would be held at the concluding day of the plenary session.
