The Congress party’s registering of complaints on suspected tampering of EVMs has given enough indication that it has already conceded defeat, remarked Chief Minister Raman Singh on Saturday.
He was interacting with media persons at Swami Vivekananda Airport here before leaving for Telangana to address public meetings in view of the Assembly polls in the neighbouring State.
Singh will be holding three public meetings as a star campaigner for BJP candidates.
Singh said, “The Congress party is holding regular meetings while awaiting its defeat. The entire poll process is transparent, so there is no scope for any irregularities.”
He further claimed that BJP will once again form the Government in Chhattisgarh.
As per scheduled programme of the Chief Minister, he addressed public meetings at Badrachalam (District Bhadradri), Yellareddy (District Kamareddy) and Khairathabad (Hyderabad).
Meanwhile, the Congress party in a statement while reacting to comment of the Chief Minister stated that people have rejected the developmental claim of BJP Government of 15 years. They want change and the Congress party workers are playing the role of an alert ‘soldier’ for protection of democracy.
