Leader of Opposition and BJP leader Dharamlal Kaushik said since independence, the present government-led by Congress is the most unsuccessful one. The developmental works have come to a standstill.
Kaushik was addressing a street meeting at Mardum market of Chiktrakot Assembly constituency, on the last day of election campaign for the by-poll.
He added that but by bringing back BJP candidate Lachhu Ram Kashyap the wheels of development can be restarted as BJP has always dedicated itself to development. Congress duped the people by making lots of promises before assembly elections and then went back on them after elections. This time for sure, people will give a reply.
Former minister Kedar Kashyap said all developmental works were undertaken during the BJP led government in the state. Give us one more chance to continue with the same pace of development, he added.
