Congress divided over what it has achieved: Sai

Published on:

The Congress is a house divided over what it has achieved in Chhattisgarh in the two years it has been in power, state BJP President Vishnudeo Sai said on Thursday.

One cabinet minister claims 33 percent implementation of the promises made, another claims 70 percent and yet another talks about 80 percent, he told the media.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel says 24 promises have been fulfilled against 36 made in the election manifesto, Sai said. This proves that even the Congress Ministers are not one on this issue.

He listed the failures of the Congress government including providing Rs 2,500 a month to 10 lakh unemployed youth, liquor prohibition, incomplete loan waiver to farmers, unable to pay the difference amount of paddy procurement and failure in law and order.

Sai also accused the Congress of using Lord Ram to create a wedge between ‘your’ and ‘our’ Ram. The Congress at the national level had rejected the veryexistence of Ram. It is welcome that now they    accept they cannot move ahead without Lord Ram’s blessings.
