Reacting sharply to the burglary of the house of a businessman in Fafadih on Saturday, the state Congress party said it is an example of deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
Party spokesperson Sushil Anand Shukla said that the incident took place near the Gunj police station. The goons stormed into the house without any fear. He said that in the past also similar criminal incidents occurred in Raipur which remained unsolved till date. Police patrolling is limited to high profile areas, he alleged.Shukla said that with the deteriorating law and order situation, it will not be surprising if the Naxals also get away after committing major crimes in Raipur itself.
