MlA from Marwahi Assembly constituency Amit Jogi, while welcoming the election survey statement of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, said that his call for strengthening the internal frontal organization of the Congress party and workers was praiseworthy.
Jogi said that the Congress party is active in every village and every city and is in power. The BJP has been making baseless allegations against the Congress. Terming the published survey report of NDTV and Hansa Research Group, which had said that the NDA would get more seats, as a false campaign against the Congress, Jogi said, with the last 60 years of the Congress and 10 years achievements of UPA government’s social, secular and public welfare schemes, the Congress led UPA would get more than 300 seats.
He said that the Opposition political parties were repeatedly publishing survey reports in the newspapers. These are the election strategy of these parties. The Congress party is active across the country. It has more than 5 crore membership and has its presence in 6 lakh villages and cities. Jogi said about the survey report that in a sting operation it was shown that those who were involved in the preparation of survey were taking bribe.
Supporting the Congress party’s demand for ban on pre-poll survey reports, he said that by preparing such wrong survey reports, some industrialists and political parties were spreading vicious propaganda against the Congress.
