The Raipur City District Congress Committee on Thursday held a meeting of its ‘Ration Card Vigilance Committee’ and decided to lodge FIR against those officials concerned, who allegedly cancelled ration cards of the eligible families on the name of ongoing ‘Ration Card Verification and Cancellation Drive.’
The party leaders alleged that many eligible families were denied food grain from the fair price shop from last two months while these shops have been allotted ration of their share.
