The Gariaband District Congress members have warned to launch an agitation against the alleged ‘Fake Bill Voucher’ prepared by Udanti and Sitanadi Tiger Reserve officials in 2015 for various projects if a thorough inquiry is not conducted by the State Government.
Speaking to the media persons on Thursday, Gariaband District Congress President Babulal Sahu alleged that the concerned officers at Udanti and Sitanadi Tiger Reserve are adopting corrupt methods by allegedly preparing bills worth over lakhs of rupees.
Similarly, he pointed out on the corruption at Udanti Sanctuary few years back when a Stop Dam was constructed for providing drinking water . Notably, the dam was damaged during the first rainy season due to the usage of cheap and low quality building materials. Also, it could not stand for a year since its inception, said Sahu.
According to him, several demands to look into the matter went in vain due to the ignorance of the officials.
Besides these two issues, Sahu raised the issue of alleged fake recruitment of education staff from 2005-07 conducted by Mainpur Zila Panchayat.
