Cong steps up attacks on Raipur RS MP

Accusing Raipur lok Sabha MP, Ramesh Bais, of being ineffective, Opposition Congress in Chhattisgarh on Friday said every electorate is unhappy with him.

“The BJP State unit spokesman Sachidanand Upasane might be swearing falsely on his activities, but every electorate of Raipur lok Sabha constituency is unhappy with his ineffectiveness,’’ State Congress spokesman, Sushil Anand Shukla, said.

He added that the BJP leaders were desperately trying to hide the ineffectiveness of Bais who is seeking re-election from Raipur seat, which goes to polls on Thursday, April 24. Shukla stated that nobody questioning his presence, the questions are being asked on his symbolic presence.

“Despite being present in the Parliament, he has never echoed the voice of Chhattisgarh in the lok Sabha, he was never seen asking questions in the lok Sabha because Bais has always taken his job as an MP very causally.

“In the lok Sabha itself he remained totally ineffective. Did Upasane mean that a student would pass on the ground that he attended all the classes without addressing any questions in the examinationIJ  he said.

“Upasane should ask Bais what people of Chhattisgarh want to know from him. You represented Raipur seat in the Parliament but how many questions you have askedIJ’’ he said referring to Bais.

“What are the demands you made in the Parliament for the development of RaipurIJ You should tell what initiatives you have taken in the last five years for the early completion of All India Institute of Medial SciencesIJ,’’ the Congress State spokesman said. He further said, “how many times you met the Union Health Minister and the Prime Minister in the connection of AIIMSIJ You served as Central Chemicals & Fertilisers Minister .What have you done for the State as a Central MinisterIJ”
