Cong MP slams SAIl management

Member of Parliament (MP) Durg, Tamradhwaj Sahu has strongly condemned the management of Steel Authority of India limited (SAIl) for alleged neglect of Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) collective in the recently declared Executive Director’s (ED) promotion list.

In a Press release, the Congress MP Sahu specifically pointed that BSP, which is the flagship of SAIl, has always fared well in the terms of production and productivity. ‘It has been only due to the collective efforts of the BSP employees that SAIl could manage profit even during adverse time.

BSP had been awarded the PM’s trophy for 11 times only due to the committed and sincere efforts of its employees.

Besides, the Plant has always achieved record production, which was possible only due to the efforts of BSP collective’, stated Sahu.

BSP has left no stone unturned to keep the SAIl’s flag high, he added.

Despite the fact the BSP collective now seems to be deceived by the SAIl management in terms of ED promotion, alleged Sahu.

While strongly criticising the SAIl management for allegedly neglecting the BSP employees and giving priority to other units of SAIl, which failed to register profits, Sahu termed the decision of SAIl management as unfair for the BSP collective.

It seems the SAIl management is trying to destroy the work culture and discourage the spirit of BSP collective, alleged Sahu.
